After school club
After School Club offers a high quality out of school care service for all pupils that attend Morrisons Academy Primary School. The main purpose of the Club is to give pupils an opportunity to take part in fun, and motivational activities, in a safe and stimulating environment, which ultimately helps parents balance work and family commitments.
The After School club is based in the Primary School building in the GP room. The club has access to fantastic facilities throughout the campus and will use on a weekly basis the extensive school grounds, sports halls and outdoor courts. At the beginning of the session we run a homework club or quiet reading sessions, in a peaceful atmosphere where all pupils will get the opportunity to complete homework or read with help from qualified staff.
After School Club has a timetable with a list of different activities that pupils can choose from with emphasis on fun and enjoyment, and they also have the opportunity to take part in the schools co-curriculum programme. The club also supports pupils that live outwith Crieff to take part in co-curricular activities where they can use the club while waiting and catch later buses home at the end of the day.
The Club runs from 3:35pm - 6:00pm on each school day. There are two sessions: 3:35 - 4:45 and 4:45 - 6:00. The Club is supervised by Lisa Mackay and Jane Corbett and supported by a small team of staff.
It is essential that all pupils are booked into the After School Club prior to the sessions to ensure that we have sufficient staffing in place. This can be done through the parent portal. Parents can contact the primary school directly on the day if any amendments need to be made.
