Pond Dipping with Mr Beedie

This afternoon we took most of the pre-school children to Macrosty Park to do some pond dipping with Mr Beedie, Head of Science. We had a great afternoon comparing what we had found with the information cards on pond life. Oscar and Oliver found a newt which Eva is also holding here. Larvae, snails, tadpoles and beetles were also abundant. We also 'found' Primary 5 who were pond dipping with the Park Ranger as part of their JASS programme.
