Do our boats float? - part 2

Wednesday, 11 Oct 2017

We found a little pond area just off the fast flowing river in Macrosty Park where we could float-test our boats. The children had to climb over quite slimy stones but everyone managed. The boats were all quite different but every one moved in the gentle current and the wind helped blow them to shore so we could capture them to take back to Nursery. On the way back to the bus you will see that we found a great natural climbing frame which the children all enjoyed – it was quite challenging because the moss on the logs made them more slippery than expected. All the children enjoyed having a quick play in the Bandstand before we had to race back for lunch and noon pick-ups.
Another great morning in Nursery.
