A day in Primary
I normally get up at about 7.00am as I have to be on the school minibus by 8.00am. The bus already has some pupils on it when it picks me up in Dunkeld Square. We pick up three more pupils in Birnam then the bus is full. We usually get in to Crieff for about quarter to nine. Today is Thursday so I've lots to remember - I have PE, HE and also my violin lesson so I have lots to carry.
Thursday is special assembly day in the Primary school and P3 told us all about looking after our bodies. Their assembly was really good - I liked it! Then it was back to class for mental maths. We do this most mornings to wake us up to be ready for the day. In period 2 before break we did some language. We were answering questions about how paper is made and recycling. At break I had my snack and ran around playing games.
After break we went to HE with Mrs Farnan. We are learning how to make custard cream biscuits. We will be making them next week and I can't wait to taste them. After HE it was lunchtime. I always have a school lunch and I honestly really like them. My favourite is burger and chips but I do take the healthy salad options quite a lot as well. We only get chips once a week anyway.
In the afternoon we were with Mrs Hicks all afternoon but I had my violin lesson at 2.15pm. We finished our language first and then did some more of our topic work on the Tudors and Stuarts. We have finished the Tudors and are doing the Stuarts. Today we were looking at Shakespeare and where he lived and the Globe Theatre. I really enjoyed this as I like history a lot. I didn't have a club after school so I went up to After School Club until the bus picked me up at quarter to five. I got home as usual at about 5.30pm went to ballet class, had tea and then did my homework after an exhausting day.
