Deserts and Primary 4

Before the Christmas Holidays, Primary 4 were learning about Deserts. They thought about how deserts are formed, the weather conditions and the different types of people and animals who live there.

All the class agreed that the weather was very different from Scotland!
During the topic, Primary 4 created a fantastic display with camels, palm trees and even sand! They also worked on minature models of the desert which were displayed outside their classroom.

This term, Primary 4 have gone to the other extreme of temperature and are now finding out about Polar Regions. At least they have had lots of experiences of Arctic conditions recently!

It is such a pleasure to see the children engaged and happy in their tasks. The blog really helps me to start a conversation about what's been happening at school and put a face to all the names I've been hearing!
Great for sharing with family and friends who are not nearby.
    Thank you.
