P1 learn how to make delicious soup with Mrs Neill.
The P1 children wrote a letter to Mrs Neill at the Refectory to ask if she would help them to turn their freshly picked organic vegetables from North Dollerie Market garden into soup.
This morning, wearing their aprons, the children were invited into the kitchen and were allowed to help with the soup-making process. At lunch time they returned to the Refectory and enjoyed tasting either the 'Sammy smooth' or 'chunky' vegetable soup. It was delicious and some children even returned to the hatch for seconds and thirds. Yum yum!
