Elmer Day with Primary 1

Primary 1 sent the Nursery children an invitation for us to join them in celebrating 'Elmer Day'. We all got dressed up in bright colours and met with Mrs Lauchlan and her class in Ferntower Hall.

We had a lovely morning of stories & rhyme, games involving colour, shape and number, made our own elephant to take home and after our 'Ellie' snack we had a treasure hunt in the Primary playground. It was such great fun to meet up with our old friends and make new ones.

On our return to Nursery numerous children asked " When are we going to do this day again?"

Mission accomplished - a truely great 'Elmer Day Celebration'!

Ross and Ailise thoroughly enjoyed the Elmer Day Celebrations. Lovely to watch the video and to see all the activities which took place. We were given little stories of the day - Ross told us he loved hunting the elephants, the Elmer story and Ailise loved making her elephant and eating her yummy biscuit. A huge thank you to all involved in making the event with the nursery and P1 a great success.

What a day Tommy had!!!! Our journey home wasn't long enough for him to tell me all about it! Watching the blog together was lovely as he could tell me even more! He loved playing in the playground with his big brother...it's lovely to see a picture of them together. Thank you to everyone who made it such a great celebration.
