Minibeasts and their homes

This week we were really pleased to welcome Rhona's daddy, Andy, into the Nursery. He brought a variety of minibeasts to show us and we looked at them in some detail with our magnifying glasses. We then made some special homes for the minibeasts. Andy put string in each home so we can hang them up in the Nursery garden.

So the next time you come into our garden - watch out that you don't disturb our new neighbours!

Which one is the minibeast?!! What a great bunch of photos and lovely to see all the children so engaged. Andy really enjoyed the session.

Lovely to see all the children enjoying looking and touching the tiny insects. Thank you to Andy for coming into the nursery and teaching the children how important all these tiny creatures are.

Ella loved seeing the insects, especially the pink worms. Many thanks to Rhona's daddy for coming to the nursery.
