Let's Go Bananas!
Over the week we had collected a few very ripe bananas and, in discussion with the children, it transpires that one granny makes banana cakes when she has 'black bananas'. So, rising to this challenge, the children made banana cakes for snack tomorrow.
As the buns were baking, the children kept saying how wonderful the smell was and we decided that although we knew there were bananas in the cakes they smelt more like apple cakes!
We cannot wait for snack tomorrow.

Lovely to see them all enjoying baking. Yes - would love to sample them at home. Any biscuits/baking rarely make it to the car with Ailise..... Or I might occasionally be allowed a nibble!
