Mmmmm Hot Chocolate
The Nursery has bought a 'Storm Kettle' so we can heat water safely in the garden or on one of our outings.
One chilly afternoon we decided to try it out in the garden and make some yummy hot chocolate. We filled it with cold water and gathered small sticks for fuel which we put down the midddle of the kettle. Mrs Thomson lit the fire and after we had been playing for a while we saw lots of steam coming out of the side.
We measured out two teaspoons of hot chocolate powder in each cup and Mrs Thomson poured on the hot water. Mrs Senior added some milk to cool it before we enjoyed a lovely warm drink. Just what we needed on a cold afternoon!
