PE

On Tuesdays the Nursery children enjoy a PE session at 'Big School'. Although it can be quite daunting at first the children soon join in with all the activities.

As there are a number of new children joining the session this term we thought you might like to see what they were doing last Tuesday ( 26th January). Every week is different and during the summer months they are often outside. We have certainly seen a marked increase in their gross motor skills in addition to their acceptance of new situations and ideas. This is a valuable part of their transition process to School.

    Ailise was a bit overwhelmed on her first visit to "gym" and decided to watch from the sidelines.... She was delighted to report that at the next lesson she did join in and loved it. She now looks forward to going and asks, how long is it until Tuesday (gym day)!
