Ice Glorious Ice
The children have been enthralled by all the differently-shaped ice they have been finding in our garden. We all think Finn has an 'alien eye' when he looks through the ice sheet and one day he'll learn this has something to do with the 'Refractive Index' according to one of our parents!
It was great fun smashing the ice and we found mini-beasts, brushes, spoons and bits of leaves frozen in the ice. What a wonderful learning environment we have.
