Parents Evening
We were really proud to welcome Dawn Mcilvride, from Crieff Library, to speak at our Parents Evening. She explained that young children learn so much from being sung to, using books and engaging the children more completely through using props. Dawn shared with us some of the information she had recently gleaned from Bookstart training and explained the range of services available for children within the P&K Library system. We even had a demonstration using our own 'Lycra'!
This was followed by time to catch up with new and old friends whilst enjoying Mrs Neill's delicious shortbread.

Thanks for an informative evening, Ewan thought it was very funny when I told him what I had been doing!

Thoroughly enjoyed the evening and good to know that the fun, daft stuff we do at home is "good for them". Rhona and Isla have both loved "Cross, cross, line, line" although Rhona runs off before the Ticklies!

Lexy was not very impressed that I had gone to nursery and did not bring back a lovely painting for her! She was impressed however that I learned some new songs and thinks I should go to nursery at night more often!
