New Eco Group for Nursery

Here is the newly-elected Eco group for this year. Their primary role is to help the Nursery gain their 'Green Flag' status by the end of the session. They are also involved in helping the children and staff maintain and improve the vegetable garden and flower beds, providing the right habitats where insects and animals can thrive and help in tackling some of our Eco-sustainability issues. So you can see that they have a vital role to play in our everyday learning.

They will be joined next term by representatives from the Nursery children.

The Eco group is always looking for good ideas and willing hands so don't be shy - come and have fun with us!

This is my third year with the Eco group......what fun it has been to work with Gina and the children in the Nursery....just to see the children's enthusiasm when we plant seeds and later pick and eat our veggies straight from the plants is really magical!

My life now revolves round making all the bugs, birds and beasties in the garden comfortable with fantastic living conditions and superb restaurants to visit!!! Come and join in the fun!
