Chapattis at Nursery

To support our 'Letter of the Week' activities, Mrs Shakoor came into Nursery to make chapattis with the children. We had to roll out the dough and place them in a special basket. These were taken to the kitchen where Mrs Shakoor baked them on a round pan. Once the chapattis were sealed they were transferred to a special rack where the gas flames could brown them off. We rubbed them with butter before enjoying them with vegetable curry. Thank you very much Mrs Shakoor!

    I had a great time and chatted to Mummy all the way home about my Indian cooking. I love spicy food but my brother doesn't so we don't get it very often! Thank you for bringing your mummy to nursery, Mariam, we had a lovely time cooking with her!
