Remembrance Day

On Sunday 8 November the people of Crieff paid homage to the town's war dead in a parade and service of remembrance.

The parade, led by the Morrison's Academy Pipe Band, moved from the Royal British Legion to Crieff Parish Church and then to the War Memorial where wreaths were laid and Pipe Major Andrew Tainsh played the traditional lament "Flowers of the Forest."

The Band then led the parade to James Square for a march-past to salute the colours of the many organisations which were represented at this important occasion.
