Morrison’s Pupil to Debate for Scotland
Morrison's Academy's Debating Captain received some good news recently when he was selected to be part of the Scotland debating team.
During an impressive day of debating, which saw topics such as making the development of clean industry a condition of receiving non-emergency aid and allowing companies the right to refuse to hire smokers, he was selected for the Scotland debating team.
The team will compete in a number of tournaments this session including the Four Nations in Swansea and the World Schools' Debating Championship in Athens this February. There they hope to build on the success of last year's Scottish team which reached the semi-finals in Washington this summer.
