Morrison’s Academy Speech Day
Morrison’s Academy recently held its annual Speech Day ceremony at the Parish Church in Crieff.
The guest speaker was Sir Brian Stewart CA MSc, one of Scotland’s leading businessmen for the past three decades – former Chairman of global brewer Scottish and Newcastle and former Chairman at Standard Life, which was the largest mutual society in Europe. In an interesting and entertaining speech, Sir Brian extolled the virtues of perseverance and team work and emphasized the importance of having a sense of humour as well.
In the Rector’s speech, Mr Pengelley declared that being Head of an educational establishment such as Morrison’s Academy was an honour and a privilege and praised the efforts of the staff and pupils over the academic session.
