'Mary Rose' by J M Barrie
18 November 2010
On Thursday 18 November, Friday 19 November and Saturday 20 November, 2010, the school is planning to present a production of J M Barrie's play, "Mary Rose", a ghost story which ponders the theme of human loss: a serious play, then, but certainly not without humour.
To give you a flavour of the work, below is a trailer for a production done recently at the Royal Lyceum Theatre in Edinburgh. If it appeals, watch this space for booking arrangements early in the new school year.
This is a play to get mature upper primary pupils, secondary pupils and their family and friends thinking. And is it simply a coincidence that J M Barrie was born 150 years ago?
