Open Mornings

Nursery

Separate nursery open mornings are held twice a year, normally September and May. Our aim is to provide interested parents with a chance to see our family-orientated nursery facilities, along with an opportunity to discuss with members of the senior management team and nursery staff what the nursery can provide for your child.

Nursery, Primary & Secondary

Our whole-school open mornings take place twice a year, one in October and one at the end of January.

October open morning
The October open morning takes place on a Saturday.  Although this is a non-teaching day there will be the opportunity for you to see the wide range of co-curricular activities that are currently available and in which the pupils of Morrison's Academy are regularly involved.

January open morning
The January open morning follows a similar format to the one held in November but takes place on a weekday, a normal teaching day.  Visitors will see the school as it operates on any typical day of the week.

On both the Saturday and the weekday open mornings, tours of the school will be conducted by senior pupils and visitors will have the opportunity to talk to heads of department and other members of the academic staff as well as the members of the senior management team.
